Customer-supplied parts policy & warranty

Last revised August 5, 2024

Parts supplied by the customer are handled differently from parts supplied by the shop. Please read this before dropping off your own components.

No warranty on customer-supplied parts

The shop provides no warranty on parts it did not supply, including their fitment, function or durability.

Acceptance is case by case

The shop decides whether to install a customer-supplied part on a case-by-case basis, taking into account safety, suitability and the work involved.

Charging

Work involving customer-supplied parts may be charged at a different hourly basis than work using parts supplied by the shop. Call the shop for current rates before booking.

Stalled installations

If an installation cannot be completed because a supplied part is incorrect, incomplete or does not fit, charges may apply for the time spent and for reassembly.
